Understanding Emotions
How much do you know about feelings and how they affect you?
We all have feelings; it is part of being human. All your feelings are valid, and you can’t help how you feel in some circumstances. Feelings can be intense and confusing at times. They can also affect the way we think and behave. This is why it is important to understand how we feel so that we can manage our feelings when they become overwhelming. The idea of understanding and managing your feelings may seem confusing and complicated but it is a skill to learn as you experience new situations.
Things to remember:
- You don’t need to be perfect
- Having bad days are okay
- Small steps are still progress
- Asking for help is a strength
